Property and Sales Tax Litigation COURT APPEALS:
In every administrative proceeding, the losing party has the right to appeal the Special Master’s decision to the Circuit Court. If the taxing authority disagrees with a reduction granted by the Special Master, he will file a challenge in Court. This is particularly true where large reductions have been obtained for several years. This a Judicial Appeal where the property owner must be represented by an attorney.
