Property tax exemptions are an important part of lowering your property tax liabilities.  It is important that you and your team understand the importance as well as the guidelines and jurisdictional deadlines involved with applying for exemptions.

Each property that is assessed is also given a classification; these classifications could change as the property is developed to a new use.  It is important to note that since the Property Appraisers office is compiling data, it is also using a mass approach to determine the market value for each property.  Sometimes there is not a classification for your exact use of the property and it important that your consultant analysis your current classification to determine whether you are being assessed correctly.
